• Content-related data related to the application, such as documents, tags, categories, etc. This data is necessary to use the application. • Payment details are processed by our payment provider Stripe. We do not store this data.

With whom do we share your personal data?

We may share your Personal Data with other parties that process Personal Data on our behalf. These are Processors within the meaning of Relevant Legislation. Processors use your Personal Data only in accordance with our instructions and not for their own purposes. We enter into a data processing agreement with the Processors, ensuring they handle your Personal Data carefully and only receive the necessary data to provide their service to us. This is a list of the (categories of) Processors and what they do for us:

• Cloud and hosting services, used for data storage.
• Communication, email, and notification services, used for sending emails and notifications.
• Stripe, our payment provider, used for processing payments.
• Authentication, we do not store passwords. We use an external service to authenticate users.

Automatic processing of documents using AI

• The 'paperbox' in MyPapertrail uses artificial intelligence to process documents. The photo or PDF of the document is sent to our AI provider, which processes the content of the document and sends it back to MyPapertrail. The content of the document is not stored by our AI provider.
• The functionality is only meant to provide you with a better experience and reduce manual work.
• Automatic processing using AI is not available in the free or basic subscription.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file sent from a website server to the browser. The browser then stores the file on your device. Your device receives a unique number, allowing our site to recognize the device later. We may use cookies to improve your experience on our website. Cookies also ensure, among other things, that the website is fast, you can visit our website securely, and we can detect errors on our website.
